• Significance: Commemorates Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago address (11 Sept 1893)

Gyan Bharatam Mission:

• Announced in Union Budget 2025–26

• Seeks to revive and expand the National Mission for Manuscripts (2003)

• Aims to:

  • Preserve and digitise manuscript knowledge

  • Disseminate traditional knowledge using modern technology

  • Build institutions and nurture new-generation scholars
