The 14th edition of Exercise MAITREE began on September 1, 2025 at the Joint Training Node, Umroi, Meghalaya.

India: 120 personnel from a battalion of the Madras Regiment.

Thailand: 53 soldiers from the 1st Infantry Battalion, 14th Infantry Brigade.

Theme: Company-level counter-terrorist operations in semi-urban terrain.

Mandate: Conducted under Chapter VII of the UN Charter (Action with respect to threats to peace, breaches of peace, and acts of aggression).
